Does anyone know why they inverted the rear shocks on the XR’s?
Guessing the new manufacturer design/engineering to have proper tuning they were looking for on XR pkg 🤷‍♂️

Looks like an exact match to mine which is still waiting on transport to NY from NJ port!
Where are they getting the chips to make these ? All the lots around me within 50 miles are empty they have nothing no new cars Jeeps nothing
The only thing I’m really curious to hear about is from someone who has been driving a standard 392 with 3.73 gearing and swapped with an XR with 4.56.

Currently with my BFG K02 37s I can’t tell any difference from the stock tires to the upgraded tires. I would be curious to see how much better this gearing is in case I decide to do it in the future.
So the XR is it the same 392 just different gears?

A bit more than original. I would urge you to take a look at my previous vehicle sticker post. Mine finally just arrived off transport vehicle this morning. Will post more photos after dealership details it. For what it’s worth, ride actually seemed smoother than original 392 with smaller tires. (Yes, this is how they usually look before dealer details them for customer delivery).

Congrats! Can’t wait to see more pics when you get a chance. When did you place your order?

With a nitrogen charged shock, it doesn’t matter which way it’s mounted. Assuming the XR does have a longer shock which allows more droop than non-xr models, it is likely done so that the body of the shock doesn’t contact the frame at full flex. The shaft end is simply narrower And the plastic cover contacting the frame won’t damage anything.

I waited for XR package and stuck with Sarge Green. This thread makes me feel good about both of those decisions.
Agreed… I waited for XR and almost went with Sarge Green. I ended up selecting Sting Grey, but now really wish I’d gone with my initial thought.

I switched from sting gray to sarge as well and couldn't be happier... Hopefully I get it in few days.

I was back and forth on these two colors as well.... I have seen a Sting Grey 392 in person and it looked awesome, so can't really go wrong. đź‘Ť

I would like to have a 392 in the gator color but I know they don't make it anymore. This color would be great in the 392 but I think they only made it but one year on the JT didn't they ? T
