FWIW: I got Mopar lifts on my 2015 Sahara and 2018 JKUR Recon; the amount of lift this Mopar lift yields is significantly greater.

I don't think that's correct. From everything I've read. The Mopar lift is mainly for non Rubicon models to get them pretty much on par with the Rubicon. The Rubicon doesn't benefit that much from it height wise. I think the stock Rubicon is lifted higher then you think.
Think you are confusing the amount of lift with XR package and the Mopar Lift. Mopar lift on Rubi’s nets like 2.5” over stock on most. The XR pkg is a totally different suspension. It is redesigned springs and shocks.

It doesn’t look very lifted. Curious to see it next to a normal Rubicon.
Exactly. Maybe all they did is increase bump stop to accommodate the "35s", at the expense of articulation.

I do like the lip on the fender flares. I hope it can be retrofitted to mine to preemptively insure against law enforcement harassment, since in my state tires sticking out is not legal (but also inconsistently enforced).

I think it looks great 👍. I also think it’s a great value. I ordered the 392 with the XR package, I think the value is better on the regular Rubicon, but maybe I’m missing something that comes on the 392. I got it anyway.
Was your order accepted? Two dealers now have told me that an order with both the 392 & the XR package are currently blocked.

Dude. He installed a Mopar lift on his Jeep and measured it and youre telling him he is incorrect? lol... to get "on par" with the Rubicon all you need is to buy a takeoff rubicon suspension (springs and shocks) for $150.

the mopar lift can lift both a sport AND a Rubicon and it is designed for greater articulation and being able to fit 35s comfortably. Some people rub with 35s on their rubis at max articulation, it is tight.

  • Mopar lift: $2,000, installed
  • Five new wheels and 35-inch tires $3,000, minus $1,000 for your takeoff wheels and tires = $2,000
  • Re-gearing: $1,000
  • Fender flash: priceless!
Total ~ $5,000

Factory cost for XR = $4,000, minus any discount you might get off MSRP

Pros of XR:
  1. Less total cost
  2. Covered by warranty
  3. Counts towards resale
Pros of DIY:
  1. You get to choose any lift you want
  2. Looks like you get more lift from a Mopar lift than from that XR lift
  3. You get to choose any wheel and tire combination you want
  4. If you already own a Rubicon, chances are it will be cheaper to upgrade than to trade it in

Don’t forget retuned shocks, longer arms, and hinge reinforcement.
