Provided the fenders haven’t been covered in Armor All or 303, they should be pretty easy to have them painted.

Unlike the highly-textured black fenders on JK, the black fenders on JL look smooth enough for painting. Your son should check with a body shop.

Love Firecracker Red. Got the 2018 Sahara for the wife, then got the 2021 Rubicon for me 2 weeks later. Just got the wheels on today. Teraflex 2.5" RT2 Lift kit on the way along with Rock Slide electric steps. Still trying to decide on bumpers.

Thanks to the guys at Hellbent Performance today - got Falken AT3W tires in 315-70-17 mounted on AEV Saverge II wheels plus they mounted my Ace Rock Sliders - very happy w the result!

Loving my latest build in Firecracker Red, 21 JL, with the turbo 4 on 40’s. Went with the Teraflex Alpine 4.5 short arm kit with Falcon 3.3 shocks. Fuel Rebel wheels and Nitto Trail Grappler 40X13.5X17 tires. Did the Hellwig rear swaybar and Falcon steering stabilize. Really love the ride and drive so far with shocks on number 1 and tires at 36 psi.
