Good choice, the longish 4-door needs the extra height so it doesn’t high-center on the big stuff. I’ve had mine for a year now and wouldn’t go smaller.
Your passenger is smiling. That's all that matters.I got her October 14th. My first time driving a manual on the beach, so I was a little nervous. Didn’t stall, and I didn’t get stuck so I didn’t do too bad!
Be sure to shut off the traction control while in sand. It will cut engine power when the wheels spin and induce a stall. Great looking Jeep!!I got her October 14th. My first time driving a manual on the beach, so I was a little nervous. Didn’t stall, and I didn’t get stuck so I didn’t do too bad!
I have the same passenger in the back. He likes to ride up front when it's free.I got her October 14th. My first time driving a manual on the beach, so I was a little nervous. Didn’t stall, and I didn’t get stuck so I didn’t do too bad!

Wow, nice first car! Great job, kid! Mine was a 1984 Chevy Chevette! Lol!My son just got his first car (that he’s paying for). A Firecracker Sport S. If anyone has some color matched Rubicon fenders laying around I’d like to buy them. Thanks.
Haha. 1984 Ford Escort...handed down from my sister.Wow, nice first car! Great job, kid! Mine was a 1984 Chevy Chevette! Lol!

My first vehicle was a 1965 Jeep CJ. Bright orange with chrome rims, 4 cylinder, hi & low transfer case (3 shifters on the floor; transmission, 2wd-4wd, hi & low) and even had hand crank windshield wipers on both driver and passenger sides. It would go 50 mph down hill with a tail wind, but would go anywhere!!Haha. 1984 Ford Escort...handed down from my sister.
