Thank you, I thought the red on black look has been overused. I really like how it turned out!Nice looking rig. Like that you used the bronze colored wheels to compliment the red.
Assuming you won't do a lot of highway driving, the stock gearing is fine for larger tires. I run a pretty heavy set of 37's and above 70 mph I'm getting 10-11 mpg... below 65 (so country roads, etc) I'm getting 20 mpg, lol. Turbo 4 is awesome. Rig looks good. I'm starting to do a lot of longer overland type trips starting this winter, so will throw KO2's (37's) on stock wheels with spacers to allow the Jeep to find 8th again on the highway. So far stock gears, and I do not think regear is going to be needed. Tazer mini is ordered but not on yet, about 10 MPH off at 50 mph. I'm looking at a tune but its not needed, the turbo 4 is amazing. But I did order a 392....can't wait!
I have seen a noticeable drop in fuel MPG, but it's worth it. I drive about 65 mostly when on the highway and it feels great between 65 and 70. I have never been one to push a lifted Jeep much past the 70 mark. That's what my Turbo 911 is for...LOLAssuming you won't do a lot of highway driving, the stock gearing is fine for larger tires. It'll drive much better, once the tazer helps get your shift points back on track.I have seen a noticeable drop in fuel MPG, but it's worth it. Can’t wait, but really so far I’m super happy. I’d have a hard time recommending the V6 other than I know the long term reliability first hand. This engine so far is amazing, I really think I will keep it even when the 392 gets here. It'll drive much better, once the tazer helps get your shift points back on track.
Same here, as far as being a keeper. When the 2.0 gets long in the tooth, I'll have to assess the body and frame, to see if its still worth transplanting new life into it. Or, go with a 392 after a few shakedown model years and add the 60's and Atlas t-case to replace the current clutch based one. Can’t wait, but really so far I’m super happy.
