Ferdinand’s firecracker red JLU Rubicon is definitely on !!! We modified just about every square inch of this Jeep.
We started with a 3.5” RT3 TeraFlex Suspensions system with Alpine IR arms, including a set of 3.3 Series SP2 Falcon Shocks.
Next, a set of 37x13.50R17 STT Pro tires from Cooper Tire were mounted on 17” Armorys from Black Rhino Wheels.
For armor, Ferdinand chose a complete package from Road Armor Bumpers. This included their Stealth Series front and rear bumpers, plus all four steel fenders with inner fender liners. We also added some red accents here and there on the liners, to accent the Jeep. The sliders are Road Armor’s boat sliders which extend all the way to the frame for protection, including the rocker armor. A VR EVO Series 10k winch from WARN was also added for efficient recovery duties.
Underneath, a MetalCloak UnderCloak skid plate system was installed which includes engine, transmission, transfer case and gas tank protection. We also eliminated the minivan muffler with a complete Magnaflow Rock Cralwer cat-back exhaust system which tucks everything up high & tight.
For lighting, everything chosen was from Rigid Industries - LED Lighting. The front bumper received a pair of Rigid’s Radiance cube lights with red backlighting plus a 20” SR-Series under the pre-runner bar, while the rear bumper has a pair of SR-M back up lights. All of the lights were then wired up to a Six Shooter Trigger from Advanced Accessory Concepts.
A Rugged Ridge Heavy Duty tire carrier kit holds the spare safe, flanked by a pair of Mopar LED taillights that we swapped in, protected by Rugged Ridge’s taillight guards.
On board air came courtesy of a dual ARB 4x4 Accessories compressor that we custom mounted in the rear storage cubby.
