Yup. I’m in recall status. Hopefully they get it sorted out before the weather gets nice.

Mine is included and my friends 2 door....must be all manuals. This is gonna be costly considering they'll essentially have to replace all clutches which is a $2300-2600 job. Add in rental car expenses..

Dual mass clutch in a Jeep, Why? Just checked VIN and mine is affected.

Wonder If I could use this as a bargaining tool to trade up to a Rubicon from a Sahara?

I don't see any more info than on mopar.com, but an alternate places to check your VIN:

I signed for my Gladiator last Saturday and the dealer was supposed to get in today/tomorrow. Just got a call that they can't legally give it to me until the affected parts are fixed. It sucks but not as much as spontaneously combusting.

On the bright side, I’ll get a new clutch for free after putting 30-40k miles on my original.

Edit: I just ordered myself an Element Fire Extinguisher. I was looking for an excuse to buy one, anyway... :like:

This W12 recall shows up on the Jeep app for both my JLU Sahara and my wife's JLR. Sigh.

Mine is affected. It is very early production, so it does indeed look like they'll be recalling and fixing all of them.

Yep, mine was built in e late November or early December of 2017 and I took delivery in late January of 18. I was told mine was in the very first batch of manual transmission JL's down the line.

I still think this is interesting because as I've said before, my clutch has been smoked three times. Twice by my wife and once by my brother in law, as they tried to start out in 3rd or 5th gear. It survived. I guarantee it was HOT.

Yep, this recall just popped up in the Jeep app for my rig.

I mean, I'm glad they are addressing it, but super annoying at the same time.

So is this like a 'stop driving my vehicle" kind of recall? Jeep doesn't seem to say.
