True plug and play on my Soort on the OEM LED fogs off a Rubicon. Dealer flash of ECU didn’t stop it but this did and a lot cheaper than a Tazer JL mini

Hi. I have added steel bumper and leds to my rubicon. I have the flicker issue. What brand/ device did you buy? Also what’s the deal with high beams? I have had any issue with these?
Thx

If you change your jeeps lights to LED, you will need an anti flicker decoder module. I believe this company called Ijdmtoy carries them

This is exactly what I had done. I had the dealer add the sales codes for OEM LED headlight and fogs added and it immediately fixe the high beam issue and the headlights worked perfect. The fogs still flicker persisted. @JLEEPER of http://www.headlighthaven.com/ sold me the above. Plug and play.

BTW, I didn’t hook up the halos - why bother. If I am concerned about someone seeing me I turn on the fogs<

I don’t know either way if the Tazer JL Mini will fix the flicker but at $329 it’s 4X more expensive

It's a combination of a few different issues that cause flickering in the fog lights. In some cases, as soon as you add load to the system(roll down a window or step on the brake),one of the fogs can flash like a strobe light a few times. it's more than an anti-flicker that causes this. We tried anti flickers that and also tried resistors, that did not resolve the issue. After a series of tests we fixed the LED fog light issue with our plug and play adapter mentioned above(thanks Kenny). It probably takes longer to remove the panel behind the fog light than it does to install this part.

Guys, I just installed the Enthuze LED headlights (red series). When I tried using the anti flick that came with the kit, the lights did not work. However, when I installed them without the anti flicker, they work perfect. There is no flicker. My question is, do I need one, and if so, why do the lights not work with the ones that came with the kit?

Thank you.

I just updated OEM halogen to OEM LED on the fogs.

I spent ~$80 on the JSCAN app and associated cable & interface and changed the fogs to LED using the programmer. So far no issues, but I will report back if any crop up.

I purchased this and the fogs wont work at all now. I tried reversing polarity and still nothing... Plugged OEM fogs back in and they came on flickered but at least they were on. Any suggestions?
IMO you need to fix it via software programming, especially if they are OEM LED lights.
