Well.... first off, let me thank this forum. This is a great site filled with knowledge and intuitive information. Not to mention endless inspiration (my wallet thanks each of you).
I started off with a bone stock 2019 2dr JL we picked up last October and have been collecting "take-offs" since. The list of "mods / changes are as follows:

Rubicon Wheels
Rubicon Grill (actually off a Gladiator)
Rubicon Front Bumper
Rubicon Hood
Rubicon Rails
Sahara Painted Flares
Sahara DRL LED's
DV8 Headlight w/ Halo (OEM matching)
JL Tazer Mini

This weekend I completed the build by adding the following:

Springs / Shocks off a JLUR with Hardtop / Towing / Steel Bumper
RC 2.5 Spacer Kit
JKS J-Flex Adjustable Control Arms
315/70-17 on Stock Rubi Wheels.

First pic is bone stock
Second pic is Stock with Rubi Take-Off Wheels / Tires
Third pic is current with Rubi Suspension & RC 2.5 Spacer and 315's (35s)

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Well done sir! You probably have more Rubicon parts than Sport parts now :)

Steve,

Yep, congrats, looks now like a bone-stock Rubicon. But a very nice looking one, well done.

I went a slightly different route. Making my 2019 Sport-S 2 door even better than any stock Ruby. True 2.5 inch lift (almost actually 3") with All-Terrain 35's and Teraflex Quick Sway-Bar Disconnects.

I now have the most capable open-diff Sport possible. Well-almost.

Next up is a Warn 10K winch. Admittedly, I do like the Rubicon front bumper over all the other 3rd party offerings.

Rubicon's may be the most capable Jeep ever but they are still unfortunately a dime a dozen. Welcome to that club.

Doing the difficult trails is the real fun in a Sport. The Ruby drivers just flip that little locker switch and just muscle their way through most anything. Us Sport pilots must navigate the harder stuff with much more precision, deliberation and care. Certainly with a lot less power. Wheel slip is much more important due to the open diffs. Ruby's can be much more cavalier in their approach.

That's why the rubber is the single most important mod on any Sport. If you want to do really serious off-roading, your rig has to act (not just look) the part.

It's all about the traction, not the badging.

Still, very good looking Sporticon Jeep. Crisp, clean Ruby Lite. Good job. Nicely done. Looks exactly now like a Factory Rubicon with the locker delete option. Probably exactly what you were after.

Here's my Sport Max. Could care less about anything ruby'ish. I like wheeling this Sport, it's way more fun than any other trim. The Ruby drivers can brag about doing this or that, but can they do it without their lockers?

Yes at least they can try... Sport envy.

[Truthfully if I had lockers, I'd use them to my advantage as well.]

Regardless, it's all about the rubber. Everything else is just about how to use them, independent of whatever rig they're on happens to look like.

Happy Jeeping,
Jay

This is just a toy for the wife and I. In 4 years it'll be my sons first ride.
We intend to do some light "trail riding". Nothing too hard core or anything near.
I've had YJs in the past that were mostly all show and no go (literally with Chrome Suspension and fancy paint).
This one will at least see dirt LOL

Your 2 door with the sway bar disconnected can do any trail you want to conquer. and it looks good.

I see 33in tires tho, not 35s. just a small correction on the title.

No sir.... you are incorrect. They ARE indeed 35's.... 315/70-17s to be exact.

You were able to fit Sahara fenders on a two door? I was told they wouldn’t fit because they are from a For Door

No issues at all. I used the Sports Inner Liners. All the clips lined right up and the LED harness plugged right in. I did have to get a Tazer to get the LED DRLs to work properly but as far as fitment goes, no problem with the flares lining up or fastening !

Have you offroaded it yet? Do you get full articulation with those Sahara flares and the extra lift or not? Also do the 35’s rub at full lock at all?

We've taken it trail riding a few times but not necessarily "off roading" in regards to full articulation. Definitely plenty of room between tire and flare and absolutely no rubbing, even at full lock. I do need to mention that i am running JKS Adjustable Control Lower arms. They are made with a "bow" to provide extra clearance. I feel like I would have rubbed if I had stock arms.

I went a similar route, Rubicon take off springs & 33" tires to Dynatrack 2" lift & 35" tires.
