Hello all,

I'm going with 35" on my Rubicon and the wheels I've selected have a +12 offset which is going to push the tires out a bit.

I'm a bit worried about getting in trouble with the local police so i figured i'd look at fender flare extensions in case this becomes a problem.

I see that they exist for the JK but I can only find one company making them for the JL and they are in Australia.

Has anyone come across such a thing?

I understand it may not be for everyone's taste, but I wish to keep the oem fenders and not worry everytime a cop is nearby.

Thanks!

Thanks for the link. Too bad they donā€™t fit, but even if they did....damn! thatā€™s a pretty penny. $835 AUD. thatā€™s close to $600 USD.

Don't forget to factor in the cost of shipping from Australia to the USA.......might just be cheaper to deal with a ticket or three!

The Xtreme Recon upgrades will be out soon (later this month, hopefully). There will be an official Mopar part for the fender extensions.

Has anyone removed these yet from their XR? If so assume itā€™s as simple as drill out, remove extensions, replace rivets?
I donā€™t like the look and intend to remove ASAP once my ordered Jeep arrives.

I drilled mine out last night with a 1/4 bit. Took 10 minutesā€¦easy.
