1/4" works real well. I have it on all 4 fenders.

Jeep Wrangler JL Fender/body seals? jeepseam

I put a little spot Gorilla glue in 3 places and it's held for the past year.

If you type "Fender Bead" or "Fender Welt" into Google and you can find materials that were made specifically for use between fenders and body panels.

Okay... so did you use the hollow or solid core tube? I see .25in in solid, and .236 and .276in in hollow core. Thinking hollow core will tuck in better.

Any tips for install besides a little spot of glue in places? I was thinking hot glue gun and a plastic wedge to press it in for tight fit.

Edit: Based on a few Amazon reviews it appears the .276in hollow tube is preferred.

I have used both the hollow core and solid core. I like the solid much better. I found the hollow core will eventually collapses and falls inward. I didn’t use any glue. On rare occasions I will find the material coming out usually in the front. I just push it back in and it’s good too go again.

Hmmm... I just pulled the trigger on the hollow core. I guess I will see how that goes.

Seems to be out of stock except for the thin one. Anyone use that or come up with other options?
This is annoying as shit on the Rubicon flares.
