Feedback Request: Which snorkel cowl intake design looks better?

I like the more squared up cowl best. Matches the lines of the jeep better. And I'm in the market for a snorkel because I'm wreckless

Which one performs better? Looks like the squared one would have more of a chance for increased noise and/or whistling.

Snorkels are functional, not aesthetic.
