I was doing a little research on EV chargers and found this information.

There is a 30% tax credit available for the cost of the EV charger and installation. It looks like it is currently good through the end of 2021. Obviously you should consult with a tax professional to know if you will qualify for this credit but here is some information.

About halfway down in the first link I posted it states:

"Consumers who purchase qualified residential fueling equipment prior to December 31, 2021, may receive a tax credit of up to $1,000"

More information can be found if you dig through some of the links on both of those pages but basically as I understand it you can claim a 30% tax credit for the charger and installation costs up to $1000.
