Are there ANY rocks in the areas you guys are talking about? I like the mud, but it'll be a bitch having to drive all the way back to Dallas covered in it.
Nope. No rocks at all in the Houston area. I wish. Austin and San Antonio areas are the closest.

I had a blast in Bridgeport at the OHV Park. I had 33" tires with no lift and didn't have a problem with the green and blue trails. A couple of the trails could have been kept up a little better to keep the trees from scraping the side of the Jeep though.

Hey Noob, I'm in Crosby by all the mud holes. I'm waiting to get mine hopefully in the next month. When I do I'd love to go out with others and test it out. It's my first Jeep so only ever been truckin'.

Come up north to OK, Beavers Bend.
I've never found anything other than some forestry service dirt roads. Are there actually any Jeep trails there? Definitely be interested in coming up from Dallas if so...

I’m in Baytown. I likely won’t have my Jeep until after the first of the year I’m guessing. Ready to order as soon as the 2019 order banks open but who knows when that’ll actually be. When it’s here I’ll see about getting in touch with area guys (orgirjs) and finding some places to go. First Jeep here as well.

Haven't gone in a Wrangler but Big Bend is nice. I went there about 15yrs ago and have been dying to go back. I think I'm going to go next Spring Break Weekend. I hate doing trails that are packed and Big Bend is pretty much empty year round. You don't feel rushed and can take your time and really take in the beautiful scenery.

Had an unexpected free afternoon, so made a quick trip to Hidden Falls Adventure Park. Lots of fun after all this rain we’ve been having!:jk:

I'm jealous, looks like a blast. My wife and I have been trying to plan a trip the Hidden Falls ever since we purchased our JL's, unfortunately something always comes up :headbang:

A customer/friend of mine went there recently for the first time. He asked for tips and what to watch out for, I never thought to mention large bodies of water. The times I have gone there has never been anything like this :crying: Fortunately we got it running again, and it didn't scare him away from going back.

Wow! Glad he’s running again. Today was the first dry day in weeks. All the water made for some tough runs. Good times out there for sure. Really impressed with their setup.

ya you need minimum 2 full days there. I loved it.
Any suggestions on preparation/planning for the trip, as well as routes once at Big Bend? I'd like to make a trip out there once I've gotten my Jeep and finished with the break-in period (shakedown period as it may be with FCA...)
