The tire size is 285/70/R17. Any idea why it wont fit? Looked like the tire was an inch too big. I have a steel rubi rear bumper on my JLU sport.

If I remember correctly, the tire carrier on a Rubicon is a bit different. Someone posted a photo with the two side by side and the Rubicon carrier was a bit taller (laying on the floor).
