Factory ran out of black paint?

Probably the right approach....but it amazes me with robotic painting these flaws continue. I am very fortunate as mine is very well painted. I don’t understand why the inconsistency from one Jeep to the next.

Doesn't surprise me though if you recall the robotic frame weld dilemma... Should’ve been the most quality controlled process and it wasn’t evidently.. Frame welds for crying out loud! Haha

Probably a silly question but after the Wife spilled an entire gallon of dawn in my cargo area I had to remove the carpet and discovered the body isn’t painted to match exterior. Every video I’ve seen in YouTube it’s always the same color. Is this factory?

in the past this wouldn't be acceptable , this aesthetic neglect gives the owner impression of buying a product of substandard quality but I wouldn't be concerned

At least yours is inside. Mine is bad around the tailgate hinges and the soft top rail. 2021 80th anniversary.

Yes, unfortunately most of jeep is the same way. At first I accused the dealer of trying to sell a repainted vehicle but then realized from talking to other owners that Jeep just doesn't take pride in their craftsmanship and this is standard on all models. sad for $50k
