This is how much improved the JL Rubicon is compared to the JK Rubicon:

I know Metalcloak got theirs on their CTI (Corner Travel Index) trailer this week to score the rubicon before they modified it. A stock JK would score about 540 on the trailer and they got a 640 out of the stock JL. That's a pretty big jump.

Yep.

With the sway bar connected there's no way they'd get that front wheel to fully stuff in the wheel well.

From this thread, it looks like 35s would be fine.

man those pictures........thats like porn or something...... :surprised::surprised::surprised::surprised:

Can you imagine what this puppy will do after metalcloak gets a game changer under it? (not promoting but IMO metalcloak has some of the best droop and flex I have seen on the JKU)

Looks good enough for anything you’d ever drive over on 33’s!

Yeah I have a 3.5" gamechanger on mine, the flex is incredible. I am excited to see what they do with the JL, my JK has their parts just about everywhere.

I'm a big metalcloak fan myself. I've had their full suspension setup on one of my JK's(Minus the 6pak shocks.) The joints they use on their control arms are the best I've used on a daily driven Jeep while still allowing lots of flex.

Never been terribly impressed with metal cloak unless you judge a suspension by flex. Ridden in a few with it and while it flexes well, it handles poorly compared to my Claytons, teraflex synergy hybrid...

What about the rear wheels, how come they can extend that much with no disconnect ?just curious to know Thanks
