If you pull the f47 fuse, will that disable the pedestrian noisemaker?

Curious as to why you would want to do that?

If you hit someone & it was determined you had disabled that ‘safety feature’ I am pretty sure you would be held liable.

Very curious about this too. Would love to shut this off when going off-road.

I’m curious how much of the “noise” we hear is from that pedestrian alert system, versus the vehicle components themselves. Sure seems like a hear a plethora of sounds from various parts when in electric mode and can’t tell what is “manufactured“ vs real.

I wouldn’t jump to conclusions. He may be targeting one person specifically for the hit and plan on replacing the fuse after so others are safe.

The f47 fuse pull does indeed stop the noisemaker. No check engine light. Sweet silence.

Just FYI... pulling fuse F47 does silence the system, and it won't throw a CEL, but there is a BCM error code that gets triggered (U013F-00) for the PWS that is seen during an advanced scan by J-Scan or the dealer.
