I used the chair leg rubber tips you can buy at lows and it worked great.

Seemed fairly straight forward to me.

The Daystar stops in this link are either exactly what come with the Mopar reinforced carrier, or very close. All you need is something to keep the wheel from bouncing.
I'm guessing that these will fit a JL as well? Everything i can find with this product says it fits JK models. Thanks.

I ended up buying them and the plug part that screws into the back of the Jeep were too big. Had to return them. I'd stick with the black PVC pipe option, using pvc tubing that fits inside the stock bump stop. That's really the best option of all shared above.

Just adding this to the list of possibilities. I took an old grip from a motorcycle and cut it in half used one on each side. Slid right into the stock bumper and works great

I used a rubber PVC coupler from Home Depot. Just took the hose clamps off. Measured and used a razor blade to cut to right size. I then zip tied it to the OEM bump stop.

Thanks for this idea! I used the 1 1/2" coupler and it slipped right over the OEM bump stop snugly. Just cut to length with razor blade.

Lots of ways to lengthen those as others said.

Just for reference, I have 315/70/17 KO2 on an 8.5” width wheel with +25mm offset, and found the factory tire bumpers to be the perfect length.

I just put 35s on yesterday and ordered Energy Suspension Spare Tire Bumper, but in the meantime, I stuffed a raquetball ball in there and it’s working great. Haha
