With a Rock Krawler 3.5” lift installed, I have 12” of ground space from the bottom of the pumpkins on both axles.
How did you measure that? I took a right-angle ruler and measured 12” from ground to Pumpkins on 35s at 30psi. So in theory a 38.5” should at least measure 13-14” for the pumpkin

That’s the MetalCloak 3.5” GameChanger. Really impressed with this kit and how it rides.
D60s! You lucky dog. Can't wait to see pics when they're in. I'm curious how lockers work and if you can wire to the original switches. Love the build.

Thank you sir, ppreciate that!

I will definitely post pics.

The lockers and switches are the only thing I’m not thrilled about. To my knowledge, and I’ve done a ton of research, no one has been able to make the aftermarket axle lockers work with the factory switches. So, I’m going to install a SPod and run them off it.

Supposedly Z-Automotive has come out with a pigtail plug that will allow you to use the factory switches with the aftermarket E-lockers........

I just upgraded to these tires too. I haven’t had a chance to use them on a trail yet but I love the way they ride. They do measure small but everyone knows that. I have split the front fenders with the AAL kit and have their rear liners on order.
We are hard in to the bumps in the pics with not rubbing up front. I do have some room to go so we’ll se what the real world flexing shows.

I was going to regear/truss/c-gusset and add chromoly shafts to these axles but chose not to put money in to the stock axles. I ordered the Ultimate D60’s. They’ll be here the 21st. I can not wait until they’re installed.

Why do I keep coming back and looking at this thread! I need some new tires and I’m really on the fence about grabbing a set of these or sticking with 37‘s. I’m very happy with 37’s on my JLUR with the 2 L and stock running gear. The only place it’s lacking is in the ride quality. From these post it sounds like this C rated 39 would give me a smoother ride compared to my D rated 37’s. These tires are about 15 pounds each more than my current 37’s. Decisions decisions!
