I was curious and walked around the lot at a dealership and saw a bunch of 2018-2020 wangler jlu sports averaging around $33,000 to $38,000 and then I got online and looked at a bunch of used 2018-2020 wrangler jlu sports and saw the same thing. The 2021 sport models are going for $31,000 base price and $38,000 total price brand new but a used 2018 sport with 20,000 miles for $33,000? Is this normal pricing where y’all are at?

Yeah, it's insane. I was all set to buy a barely used 2018 that was optioned close to what I wanted, but it was so expensive, it made sense to me to get a brand new 2020 that had exactly what I wanted, instead.

I was looking for a used one too and found that its better to order one from one of the friendly dealers than buying a used one. I have the impression that all this is artificially created. When you read articles talking about this and then you compare with the state of the economy, it doesn't make sense at all. Prices will come down

How are you getting $38K? The selling price of a 2021 JLU Sport is $33,290.00, inclusive of the $1,495.00 destination fee and before any packages or options.

It's absolutely insane.

This is the best used JLU in Colorado right now. 2019 JLU Sport S 3.6 with heat package, 18k miles, $32.5K. If it had the tech package, I would have bought it.

I have seen quite a few low option used Sport S and Sahara with a higher asking price than I know I can buy a new one for. I would guess the dealer might be negotiable on the used car price, but if it is that close, one might as well buy a new one.

Seen the TJ market? Can't find one for under $7K that isn't beat to crap. Most are around $8-12K. These things were $17K new! lol

Hell, you can't get into a 2007 JKU for under $15K unless it has over 200k miles. I'm looking!
