Exhaust for JLUR 3.6?

We have the Hooker Blackheart muffler. High tuck, very nice tone. Less expensive than other options. Mainly wanted something that made a little more noise than stock so I could hear to shift.

I realize this may sound ridiculous, but sometimes I can't help but ask... Are you guys tuning anything, or just plug and play with these? This will be my first vehicle that needs tazers and all kinds of settings to get things to work... Which I already resent. But I e seen videos where people claim the engine could run differently from changing back pressure, etc. Is that a bunch of BS? I may want a little more sound, and was considering throwing one of these on to see if it was too much. (Haven't even received my Jeep yet but I'm stockpiling mods )

In my experience, it’s best to treat cat backs as a sound/aesthetic (and in the case of Jeep, clearance) mod. Performance and economy gains are minimal and normally aren’t worth the cost.

I just put a Flowmaster American Thunder Axle Back on my JLUR 3.6L. Its Horrible!!!! I like the high tuck design which is what I want. But it is so loud on the interior now and it very very DROANY..... I'd like to find a High Tuck exhaust that was quiet like the factory..

Borla climber exhaust with touring muffler. High tuck and very minimal DBs then stock

@Brock9281 - Second this suggestion. Had a Borla Touring axle back one but I prefer the high-tuck so you don’t have to worry about it on a departure angle.

Just be sure to check the fitment notes before ordering. There's quite a few exhaust systems that won't fit if your 3.6L is the eTorque variant (or if you have the auto-4WD option), like the Borla Climber series for example.

I had the AFE high tuck on my JK. Will probably do the same. But I really like the Injen high tuck bit not the price they want for it!

From the YouTube videos it sounds a little too loud for my taste

i have a magnaflow. it is amazing.
It is a little louder than stock.
It says that the noise is moderate not loud.
