Honestly, I'm trying hard in this forum to find any issue the Jeep doesn't have. Nearly every problem mentioned is sustained by more members.

Since I took delivery of my Jeep in February, I’ve had: a transmission leak (they fixed it), tail light malfunction (they fixed it), blind spot monitor failure (they fixed it), push to start not working (service dept and Jeep Cares Rep says Chrysler is aware of this problem but they have no fix as of yet). They have been unable to reproduce or get error codes when: it has lurched coming out of autostop, transmission failed to engage when in reverse (RPM’s went up but vehicle didn’t move - I have video), backup camera has failed to turn on (I have photo), vehicle has gone into Acc mode with Push to Stop instead of shutting off on numerous occasions (I have video available), Radio has stayed on after vehicle is off even after I open driver's side door (I have video), satellite radio breaks up so bad it’s not worth listening to the news because I miss 1/2 the story, Uconnect screen has frozen (I have pics), and apple CarPlay works inconsistently. Most of these issues are recurrent, but inconsistent (except autostop lurch - I just turn it off now). Chrysler says the vehicle is “operating as designed.” I've been told video and pictures are not adequate to demonstrate the malfunction and prompt repair attempts. They have to be able to get codes or reproduce the problem in the shop. Most recently I got an “Error Code 24” during a scheduled software update (got a pic) and the touchscreen is heating up more than seems normal. Back to the service department on Friday. Wish me luck!Honestly, I'm trying hard in this forum to find any issue the Jeep doesn't have. Nearly every problem mentioned is sustained by more members.
i sincerely do and appreciate your and others incite to this vehicle. Again, many things I read are echoed, and this is probably quite an unremarkable slice of owners being able to vent here. This reminds me of American car troubles in the 1970's when near all American manufacturers built cars needing instant fixes over and over. Foreign cars were the butt of jokes decades before that, and it was America's own ineptness that drove consumers to foreign built cars..... Wish me luck!
So sorry you’re having such a tough time so early in your ownership experience. I’ve been dealing with numerous problems, mostly electrical, since I got mine. One of the frustrations I’ve had is when they tell me over and over that they can’t reproduce a problem and it turns out they only drove it a few miles, in one instance less than a mile. When I brought mine in to deal with the hot screen, I drove it for an hour and knew the temperature was up to 124 degrees. I kept it running while I checked it in and I demanded that they get someone out to inspect it who had the authority to determine the issue had been “reproduced”. I’m finally getting a new infotainment system installed the end of this week (assuming it comes in as anticipated) and am hopeful that this will eliminate some of my problems. Wish you luck getting them to properly troubleshoot this for you.Has anyone found any kind of resolution to this problem yet? I bought my Sahara JL about 4 weeks ago now and I have been experiencing the same problem with my U-Connect screen + Dash getting extremely hot to the touch. It often just shuts itself off which is incredibly frustrating, though I'm sure for the best. I live in Los Angeles and having to drive around in silence without A/C is brutal. I called Jeep and they told me to take it to my local dealer. Local dealer had it for two days only to tell me that they drove it for 20 minutes and couldn't replicate so too bad. This is my first Jeep and I was SO thrilled but this has taken the wind out of my sails a little bit. I'm curious to hear if any of you have had better luck with your dealerships/Jeep.
