Possibly but despite the known bowing there's about 900+ on backorder and the JL has been out for a few months. I think they'll fix it. I don't think it is serious enough on mine to cause me to not drive it or worry of a catastrophic failure. They'll send us some new perches and all move on with life is my prediction.
I'm curious about this backorder... We have 10 crates in the shop right now ready to go. They've been coming in steadily.

I’m sure orders have been shipping as available to them but as far as dealers are concerned my option in January was to get on backorder list or my dealer could try and buy one off someone else.
There were 400 on backorder in January so that’s a pretty large amount of demand we are talking.
Most people who don’t get on this forum don’t even/may never know about the issue with bowing.
Mopar was smart on being secret on the release. I personally won’t be surprised because of ease of dealer installing if mopar doesn’t become the most sold lift for the JL.
It’s easier for average wrangker buyer who wants a lift to just get it at dealer.

Mine is in the shop right now. Jeepcares wanted me to get it checked out. They have already contacted the dealer and discussed. I'm sure there is nothing they can do today, but I wanted to get it documented. I'll let you know what they say.

Mine was in yesterday. They made a “star case” and told me basically will call me when they find out how mopar and Jeep are moving forward. I guess a person from jeep is supposed to call me today as well. I’ll keep everyone updated but it seems until they have a solution they won’t be saying much

Also everyone should take a close look at your fenders...my rear right fender was starting to come loose. Wasn’t fixable so they ordered me a new one

*Update*

Literally after I just write my last posts my dealer called me!

@JLWF Dealer Guy maybe you can give us insight on what the actual parts is?

Mopar has a fix coming out and it will be at my dealer late April/early May. Rejoice people it will soon be over!

The lift is legit...it rides great with great dampening. Does it have a huge amount of flex...no. However for the majority of us that do moderate wheeling; it’s a great choice.

Mine is at the dealer. I did get a FCA case # before I dropped it off.
Mine is the first they have had at the shop, but the service manager did say he say an email on the MOPAR lift issue come across yesterday from FCA, but he had not read it.
The BOW increased after wheeling one day.

Gotta love DealerGuy’s confidence in the mothership. LOL.

Here’s my experience getting my dealer, River Oaks Jeep in Houston to take a look at the bowing on my Mopar lift.

I’ve been working with JeepCares the past few weeks to get the process going to get my lift fixed. My dealer charges absurd prices for aftermarket stuff, so I bought the lift from Quadratec and had a local shop install the lift. Just like everybody else’s, the driver side spring bows like a mofo.

I reached out to JeepCares, and they have been very helpful. They asked me to take my Jeep to any dealer in order to have my case documented. I made an appointment with my dealer a week in advance. They did not seem enthusiastic about looking at my lift since they didn’t install it. JeepCares reached out to my dealer multiple times, left messages with specific instructions on what needed to be inspected and documented. My dealer never returned their calls.

I dropped off my Jeep at the dealer 6:45 Monday morning, expecting to pick it up after work. There were a couple other small things that I wanted them to look at as well. Long story short....it sat all day Monday and nobody looked at anything. 2:30 Tuesday afternoon I get a call that they looked at the infotainment system and couldn’t find anything wrong. Oh and also their only “lift guy” wasn’t there today so they weren’t going to look at the lift today either.

I told them to have my Jeep ready for me to pick up that afternoon because they had wasted enough of my time already. They still hadn’t returned JeepCares calls when I picked up the Jeep. Because apparently River Oaks Jeep Service dept is staffed by a bunch of lazy ass f*ck clowns who give no $hits about retaining customers.

JeepCares has offered to set me up with another dealer, but I told them not to worry about it. I’ll just wait for the fix.

But did they at least recharge the flux capacitor?
