EU Jeep Dismantlers? (LHD Drivers seat base wanted)

Hello All,
I've had my new JLUR for a few weeks now and unfortunately my young son isn't too keen to ride in the front due to the low seat / high dash and limited visiblity.
I have seen some discussion on here amongst our US friends on this subject and installing the seat height adjustment parts from a RHD vehicle.
I would like to do the opposite and find a solution to the passenger side of the UK vehicle, preferably for ease, a complete, used seatbase.
Can anybody in the EU LHD market recommend a reputable Jeep dismantlers who may have an base?

Maybe we can help each other. I am in US and trying to get the base for a RHD. But jeep do not want to sell the part here so I have to search in UK.
I can get hold of a seat base here in US and ship to UK. Maybe you can then help finding a seat base in UK and ship to US.
Not sure about shipping cost though.
The partnumber you need is 68276602AJ. That's a US driver seat base with height adjust. Msrp $304. Possible to get slightly better price but remember VAT is added to US prices. Som us dealers have very good exploded parts views. Just search on the partnumber and you will find some of the good ones.
You will need some more smaller parts too around the seatbase and the height adjust handle.
And move the seatcushion to the new base. A bit of work ...


A Europe dismantler may have a seat with all the parts but I left Europe some years ago so I don't have any good contacts any longer with dismantlers.
Tricky to find recent model years too.
That's why I now look for brand new parts.

Hi Hakan,
It's a good idea, however I have now just ordered the lift blocks from ohio diesel, so I'll see how they are.
Anyway, I think I would probably struggle to get a RH seat base for you , Jeeps are pretty rare in the UK and finding one that being dismantled would be tricky and unfortunately I don't know of any specialist Jeep dismantlers in the UK.
If I do happen to come across what you are looking for I will keep you in mind.
