ETC light

I notice when I start my new Jeep this light is on for a few seconds then disappears. Is this normal. Everything else is fine.

On mine, the ECS and ETC lights come on for a couple seconds after starting -slightly longer than the time needed for the 'needle sweep' to complete.

I’m surprised your other cars don’t do this, this happens on startups before the engine is cranked as a “bulb test” to know that the light is working properly...

The light will illuminated when your car is turned to ON position as well. In fact I haven’t driven a car that doesn’t do this.

My 2020 does this as well and I also was worried until i realized that in fact it was a bulb check! Little things like that freak me out too! Damn OCD!
