ESS and turbo cooldown?

I have mine defeated via Taser, but I'm curious if the ESS is sophisticated enough to sense when the turbo is too hot to shut down at stop lights.

Unfortunately not - it does not sense the turbo temps. It activates even when my turbo is at 600F.

IIRC, the noise you hear for a few minutes after shutting your engine off is a pump continuing to run oil around the turbo to cool it...likely this is happening when ESS turns the engine off too. I still hate ESS for other reasons and keep it deactivated.
