I ordered both I can play around with it when I get it. That would make more sense then the eq curve. If you have the 8.4" Uconnect or if you have the active-noise cancelling feature, this may have something to do with that...
Nobody has active noise-cancelling on their JL. It is an option that will be found on the diesel. If you have the 8.4" Uconnect or if you have the active-noise cancelling feature, this may have something to do with that...
I thought that was part of the infotainment package. Did they scrap it?Nobody has active noise-cancelling on their JL. It is an option that will be found on the diesel.

Does it have any effect on the eq curve or adjustable. Like could you do that instead of jl fix or something to get a clean signal?Cabin EQ is usually a setting that matches the head unit to the type of speakers/sub/amp you have.
That would be great if it that was built in. Does anybody know how to fix the signal in the radio to get true output not the stock weird curve without using a dsp? It’s probably going to be more of a high pass/low pass routing filter setting based on the signal the sub amp needs. For example making sure only bass goes to the sub amp. Some models (like the Grand Cherokee) may also have divided speakers throughout the cabin (tweeters up high and mids in the doors), so the head unit acts as a cross over—or a filter that sends the highs to the tweeters (high pass) and mids/bass to the mids (low pass).
You sure about that? It says it on my window sticker...Nobody has active noise-cancelling on their JL. It is an option that will be found on the diesel.
If true, then the units would be Hertz. This setting may help the lower mid-range by boosting that number to 120Hz to 320Hz or so. Right now the speaker system sounds too brassy with USB sourced music. It’s probably going to be more of a high pass/low pass routing filter setting based on the signal the sub amp needs.
