Old thread revival. Don’t forget, “engine temperature” is a generic phrase. You have coolant temp and oil temp. Coolant will heat up quickly and allow hot air to blow etc. Oil temp is more relevant to “my engine has warmed up.” It’s best to avoid hard engine load (full/hard throttle or high rpm) before oil reaches operating temp. Oil temp will take longer to warm up vs coolant.Hi, i just noticed my engine warm up very quickly, im driving down the street like 1/2 mile + its already warmed up. I'm guessing this is normal?
That’s why I appreciate FCA putting oil temperature gauge on many of their vehicles.Old thread revival. Don’t forget, “engine temperature” is a generic phrase. You have coolant temp and oil temp. I took a 2018 GTI out for a test drive recently. The heated seats did take a while to warm up. You will be very happy with how fast the JL heated seats warm up. The heated steering wheel is really nice also.Thank god. My current GTI takes FOREVER. The heat, the heated seats too... FOREVER.
Can’t wair for my punk’n JLUR to come in!
