Automatic start using key fob lock X 3. Easy install and works great! Self-installed.

What model (link) did you use?
I just added a pic of the product for you in that post. Just do an Amazon search for that name “Start-X Wrangler JL” and you’ll find it!

Helluva good looking beach build. I try not to be bias and see you chose the best color there is: OCEAN BLUE!

The gunmetal/titanium color wheels look so good with the OC, too. I appreciate the lift before and afters photos as that is the next major update on mine and it's nice to compare how mine will look overall.

Looking forward to seeing what else you do!
Love the Ocean Blue! Selfishly, I’m glad it’s gone for 2021! Fits particularly well down here in Bradenton FL :)

Added some solid rubber tubing to the seam between the fender and fender flares to keep out gravel, sand, and debris. Tucked it in carefully using a plastic trim removal tool, and then tucked/wedged the ends under the front and rear edge of each flare on the underside. Look clean and work great!

Warn bull bar, low height, added to the OEM steel bumper for added mall crawl protection from FL driver's and shipping carts . Fitment is perfect and powder coat matches perfectly too!

Decided to hit pause on the skulls grill (just not my style although it looks badass), so I tracked down a gloss black like new takeoff Sahara grill. Swapped out the Sahara silver grill trim for my Rubi gun metal gray trim, added my ocean blue lower trim pieces, then installed. It has a Rubi "Reclone" look now. I like the black contrast!

Swapped out the OEM fog lights for Baja Designs Squadron amber fog lights. Love the amber look and they match my ROAM rail amber lights.

Had a mishap and overtightened a bolt, crinkling and tearing the powder coat on the passenger side end cap. Ugh! Looked terrible, so I taped it off, sanded it to bare metal, then hit it with texture black Rust-Oleum and a final coat of satin black Rust-Oleum. Can't even tell - phew... Minor repair to cure major heartache!

Looks great!

What did the ceramic coating run you? I am going to get it quoted as soon as mine arrives, hopefully Monday.

Added the most important mod. The one in the right is a perfect match to the Rubi red trim

Borla exhausted purchased like new locally off Craigslist for around $175. Attempted to self-install. Removed OEM. Wrestled for an hour trying to get new pipes to marry. Finally, took it to my mechanic friend who used a pipe spreader to install in ten minutes. Ugh!

it can RAIN in Florida during the hot humid summers... every day... sideways. And I got sick of that waterfall of rain water that runs right over the lights panel and onto your left thigh. So, I'm trying these - the JK version gets good reviews. The JL's problem is much worse so fingers crossed!

Truck Master Designs rain gutter extensions. I got the DIY paint-to-match version, hit it with XXX adhesion promoter, three coats of Ocean Blue Metallic, three coats of clear acrylic sealant, and installed. They fit nice and look great. I just hope they work - it hasn't rained in days since I installed them

A few smaller ones I missed along the way...

1. Sun visor Rubi delete decal. I was going to hair dryer heat and peel, but thought I'd try this first.

2. Shorter satin black antenna. Reception is excellent and the eyesore is gone!

First time doing it and wasn't sure if I'd like it, so I went with their lowest warranty at like 3 years (I think that determines thickness and number of coats???) and it was like 350. It still looks great. Not sure how much of that is the ceramic coat vs me garage storing it out if the sun and washing it often. But I'm happy with it overall!
