My Jeep history: (1) 1980 CJ7 in college, (2) 2010 black JK until my daughter was born, (3) 2012 red JKU until anvil came out, (4) 2015 anvil JKU, (5) 1995 4.0L YJ until I saw Ocean Blue in person. Then I sold my JKU and YJ in order to own (6) 2019 Ocean Blue JLUR.

Here's her story and her evolving build... a pictumentary.

Day 1: Straight from the factory

First mod (after 8.4" screen protector of course): ROAM rock rails with amber LEDs added. Self-installed the rock rails. Mechanic buddy helped with the lighting and wiring.

Next came the Mopar 2" lift. Ride quality is excellent. Seems to have improved the steering and ride quality a bit over stock. Mechanic buddy did the install.

New shoes to go with the lift. 35" KO2s and 17" Fuel Vector in gunmetal from Discount Tire Direct. Self-installed.

Bigger tires caused some false backup sensor warnings so I went with the Teraflex tire carrier for oversized tires. It eliminated the false backup sensor warnings. 35" fits perfect with no rubbing and sensors work great! Self-installed.

Professionally ceramic coated. Shiny!

Added a forward facing dash cam with motion sensor activation. Ran the wires behind top trim and behind grab handle and A pillar trim. Works great and cheap! Self-installed.

Helluva good looking beach build. I try not to be bias and see you chose the best color there is: OCEAN BLUE!

The gunmetal/titanium color wheels look so good with the OC, too. I appreciate the lift before and afters photos as that is the next major update on mine and it's nice to compare how mine will look overall.

Borla exhausted purchased like new locally off Craigslist for around $175. Attempted to self-install. Removed OEM. Wrestled for an hour trying to get new pipes to marry. Finally, took it to my mechanic friend who used a pipe spreader to install in ten minutes. Ugh!

Purchased an abandoned hydrodipped skulls blue grill for about $160 and decided to run it for a few months. Customer placed the order then sold the Jeep before it was complete. I found it local - hydrodip guy just wanted it out of his garage.

Carolina Metal Masters mirrors for going doorless. Found them being sold used like new condition for about 125 so I jumped on them. They're sweet and ZERO vibration.
