While I am waiting for my Jeep, I'm looking into "must haves," "might needs," etc. (In other words, I have no experience with this stuff...)

Emergency Replacement Tire Valves are something a few ppl have recommended carrying. But, looking at the options from Colby (https://colbyvalve.com/ an often-mentioned brand) it seems like it would be smarter to get the permanent ones and also carry a wrench instead of going the "emergency" route. They are all similarly priced on most sites.
Are the "emergency" ones also permanent? Is there something else I'm missing?

Carrying a spare or two either in an OEM or "emergency" type is a good idea and it weighs nothing and takes up little room. It should be part of your tire flat repair kit.

You should carry a full tire repair kit and a spare valve should be a part of it. And of course know how to use it.

TBH, it's unlikely that you'll use it. You'll just swap with the full size spare and will need 2 tire failures before you dive into the repair kit. BUT if you have 2 tire failures when out of cell range it's very worthwhile to have a small, light tire repair kit stashed away somewhere.
