It will officially open Next Summer (2020). There are special events there, not many, but a few.
It will be called "Holly Oaks ORV Park". It will be managed by Oakland county with money from the state too to help it get going.
There is a FB group for it here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/253164688574643/

Next Event, that I know of there, is http://www.detroit4fest.com/ On 9/14.

    Hope this helps.

Hi. I spread my time between Canada (GTA Home) and West Michigan (Holland Home). I’m running a (currently) bone stock JLUS I purchased a month back after getting my 2019 Cherokee TrailHawk totalled. One trail, three trips between homes. I love it.

6A541B48-7AF3-469C-AE9F-B082FD441D1D.jpeg Hello from Stevensville. I split time between MI (where I’d rather be) and IL. Just got my JLU Rubicon and planning to explore MI’s trails. Silver Lake is certainly on the list. Hoping to learn about other options and clubs in SWMI.

Anyone do Jeep Creep over the weekend? We drove by in Gladwin. There looked to be alot going on. We ran the powerline trails north, then headed to St. Helens. After playing some in St. Helens, worked our way back to Harrison all by trail.

We started out following some of the Lansing Area Jeep club up the powerlines,

Then split off our own way as they had to be back for Jeep Creep activities.

Headed to St. Helens, the trais were wet and muddy in places.

My bud playing on the rocks in the scramble area.

Then back down the trail on the way to Harrison.

and now the clean up needs to happen.

Ended up at Middleton Dinner for dinner before heading back to Lansing.
