Are any of you going to the Jeep Invasion at Silver Lake at the end of the month?

https://www.slsdjeepinvasion.com/

We will be up there.
I have been trying to figure out if I can get in driving up early Saturday or is it a must to check in Friday like a normal busy holiday weekend? I see you can register but can’t figure out what that does for you.

Hi, Macomb resident here. I have lived all over SE Michigan. Not sure how this thread didn't show itself until now. I have had my JL for little over a year now. I love it. Had a 1999 TJ years ago.

Retired from Corrections....I have stories.
Just starting on the MODS now!
Awesome. Get those mods....

I talked my bud into buying a JLUR. He picked it up on Wednesday, we put the lift on Thursday (35 miles on it), and we just got from Discount Tire from having his wheels and tires mounted on today Friday (with 69 miles).

So if you see this Jeep running around Lansing... It is Bill.

11 miles..

We also installed a Tazer to adjust for tires and such.

What lift did he end up running and 35s?

Ive been toying with which lift I want to run - and tire and wheel combos - so far I am thinking 2.5" with 37s either Trailgrapplers like my JK or going to trepadors...Just still undecided - basically have 300 miles on it now and still getting used to the manual trans - was looking for a soft top on the forums / CL / FB and havent found one - may order up a trektop.

Also what are some of the other forums - aka JL forums that people are on - just seems like not much traffic on this one...I just know from jk days I was on Pirates / JKforums / Jkowners -

His is the 2nd Rancho 2in sport lift that I have installed. It clears 37 great. Flexs great and with the adjustable shocks, it rides smooth on the road, then adjust them up for off the road. Here are some pics of my JLUR flexing in Windrock TN. last weekend. I will be installing two more Rancho lifts on new JLUR very soon. One on Saturday and one during next week if the lift comes in. They are an easy install, take about 5 hours in the driveway and the instructions are spot on. The Rancho lift we use is this one... RS66122BR9

Looks good - right now just playing the waiting game on some cash to proceed ahead with some mods - but certainly getting closer - just ended up ordering my ORV tags so I can head up to Drummond - hopefully get there before that huge Jeepend event - I just like smaller crowds - plus I know the island pretty well from 8+ trips up there.
