Do you have to worry about issues when replacing the OEM halogens, as far as throwing a code or flicker?

Correct! No codes or flickering.

Our engineering team has spent many hours researching and developing this product and the owner of Diode Dynamics 2018 Jeep JL was used for many hours of testing for these fog lamps.

Installed my elite fog lights yesterday. They are awesome quality but I have two complaints.

1. They are a bit smaller than oem, and now there’s a gap around them and my steel bumper, not a big deal but I don’t understand the reasoning for not making the lamps the same size.

2. The plugs are really really tight to push in and I had to use counter forces in the lens since the two bolts that hold it in place flexed while trying to push in the connectors.

Would I have upgraded my oem led dogs knowing this, it’s a toss up because I really wanted a black reflector housing and Amber backlight, but given the gap it now has, I’d be tempted to look at alternative options if I were to start over.

I can’t imagine it’s any different to any other Jeep these are installed on. But here’s mine. The oem led lens extends all the way to the edge. Your lights stop just a tad short. Again, not a big deal.
