Electric mode unavailable - cabin heat or cooling

This jeep has run flawlessly for over 10,600 kms. Took it in for its first oil change and now basically stuck in Hybrid mode running ICE 95% of the time. No updates were done at the service, only oil, and tire rotation. Very suspicious that this situation presented itself at this point in time.
The only thing that was done different, was manually selected e save to run ICE to the dealership to warm up the oil.
same outside temperature, same climate settings, even turned off climate control.
Anyone had any progress with these EMU-CHOC issues?

This guy had the same problem, and it seems to be an electric heater issue, to which he says it's backordered. Hopefully this helps.
