No. You have to buy a separate brake controller if you want one.

Are you asking if you can have the brake controller installed as an option from factory?

If that is the question then no. You will need to buy one aftermarket and install it. The plug for these are located under the left side of the dash above where the clutch would be on a manual basically.

YIKES! I know the limit is 3500#, but is that with trailer brakes? My utility trailer (single axle) I use to haul around my Wolverine (1400# itself) DOES NOT HAVE TRAILER BRAKES... my total weight pulling may be around 2500#....... but no trailer brakes. Anyone have this setup??

No, the limit is 3,500 lbs. regardless of with or without trailer brakes. It's also regardless of whether your Jeep came with the factory towing package or if you added a hitch later, contrary to what was mentioned in a recent thread on this topic.

However, trailer brakes do need to be used when you get to the top of the rated capacity.
