Is this a Tazer-like product?

Sounds like they have some sort of automatic speedo calibration for tire size?

Read some reviews on Amazon, they were mixed. Overall, I think it may be a decent product.

Anyone have any comparisons with Tazer and other calibration devices? I was going to look into this or a Tazer.

I mainly purchased this for tire size calibration when I do move up in size. It is at a reasonable cost and comes with the security gateway bypass module as well.

So, how's it working out? I have a Superchips FlashCal but with all the postings on the forum regarding side effects of using it I'm thinking of going with the ECRI module instead.

Works great. You connect it per the instructions, make your changes and disconnect once completed. I used it to change the tire size when I went to 35’s as well and changed when the low tire pressure warning would kick in.

In stead of buying this offfering buy the ECRI Security Bypass Module for $24.99, an inexpensive OBDll Bluetooth Scanner and pay JSCAN, $25+- to register your JL's, VIN#.

You will be far better off with JSCAN.

I love this thing. From setting up led turn signals to changing tire size which adjust your mpg and speed. It’s like driving a stock vehicle. I just leave mine plugged in just in case. Plus the connector is kind of a pita to get in and out.
