I have a soft top plastic bumper JLUR 3.6 would I see any height by going to the 3668/3602 springs? Or would it just reduce towing sag?

With the 68 and 02 springs you will get at least 1.5 lift. Those are the firmer set of 3.0 springs, I have not tried them. Only the 67 and 01's. I seen 1.5 on my JLUR with hard top, steel bumpers, tow, and 12K winch on the nose.
My best guess would be more 2" with no adders to your JLUR with soft top and plastic bumpers, over the gasser springs.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
That looks like a huge win, nice job! ^^^ I hope you added the Mopar lift LCAs or adjustable LCAs as I'm sure your caster will need help :)

yes I added the longer LCAs to be on the safe side.

I gained 3.5” between swapping tires and adding the Rubi springs (and rear spacer)

I am strongly considering the ecodiesel takeoffs. For a JLU Sahara with stock bumper and hardtop what do you think the gain would be? My math has it about 2”....would that look weird with 285/70R17 tires?

You will need to get the tag #'s off the springs.
Rubicon Diesel's are 3667 or 3668 AD Fronts. Rear's are 3601 and 3602 AA
Do not use gas spring they are shorter than the diesel springs.
Hi Gene,
I just did a swap over with a rubicon ecodiesel. The rear coils on the tags are 3601aa but the front are 7622ad. I looked up part number 7622ad and 3668ad and it shows it’s for the 2.0, 3.6, and ecodiesel.. Do I actually have front diesel springs?

Hey all,

new here, this thread made me join!

I am looking to add diesel suspension… springs, LCAs, shocks

I reached out to a shop to install and got the response below:

Are you sure you want to add the diesel suspension to a non diesel Jeep? The spring rates are much different on the heavier diesel. It will sit higher than expected and be a bit stiffer than if you did the correct parts.

I figured I’ll revive this thread and hopefully get some long term reviews.

I do have a mid width front bumper and plan on adding a winch to the front too.

the rear will eventually have a 35” spare and bumper.

thanks in advance.

The LCA are the same for all JL and JT's. You might want to get the one's from the Mopar 2" lift. They are longer for better caster.

The response you got was good. He just needed more info from you. You are going to add weight ( bumpers, winch,....)
I started out stock 4800lbs I'm now over 5300 empty. The 3.0 springs will still be on the firm side but very doable.

He (NJ732port) is looking for feedback...
- Is it too stiff?
- Would you do it again, or do something else??

Thought I did on the last line?

I have ran almost all JL and JT springs shocks.

It will be on the firm side, but live able. I like the softer side of street ride. I really like how the 3.0's get rid of body sway and hold the weight of a winch. The best for me was the 3.0's springs with JT Rubicon shocks. Think I have said that a few pages back.. To many posts and pm's to remember.

Got my Rubi Diesel springs installed today. I’m super happy with the outcome.

Second pic shows the progression.
Stock -> 34s -> 34s plus Rubi springs

Please keep us posted if you add weight to the front end. I’m debating on doing only front springs or all the springs after my winch goes on.

Mine seems to sit pretty standard it seems, about 1/2” rake. After the rear bumper and spare tire being mounted that is. The bumper up front only has the winch plate in it for now while I wait for the winch. Just not sure if I’ll need to do 3601/3602 rear springs along with the 3667 front springs. Guess I’ll see after the winch and see how the jeep sits. Ideally I’d maintain half inch forward rake.

Currently with gasser rubi springs, I know it’s not the best way to measure tire to fender clearance to gauge whether it’s raked. But it sure seems pretty level to me. Last I checked I chucked some car batteries on my bumper to simulate about 50-60lbs of installing a winch and it sagged about 1/4-1/2”.

Y’all think I’d deal with rake if I did all 4 springs? I’m only looking for an inch of lift realistically and not sure if diesel springs are the way to go or just get 1in spacers.

I’ll have to get the bumper mounted in the next few days I’m driving cross country in about a week and gotta pack up everything into the Jeep

I just mounted 35” maxxis trepadors to stock wheels and it’s rubbing on the sway bars.
