So the rumor I’ve been hearing is that EJS 2021 is cancelled. They met last night with the board and weren’t able to get permits. The city denied them due to covid and not allowing gatherings over 200. Checked the Red Rocks 4wheelers page and nothing is announced there yet. Anyone else heard this rumor?

That is too bad. More business closed. I bet this will just about put a very high percent of shops closed in Moab. Second year and this is the single busiest time. Assume many cant keep the doors open. Pretty sad big brother is killing our economy.

Yep! I know a few people that were planning on going. They’re still going either way since they already had reservations for hotels, etc. Sad if it does turn out to be true as so much business depends on it.

So after looking more it is cancelled. They’re supposed to update the webpage today.

Retired from Corrections....I have stories.
Well I feel sorry for those that planned to attend. I am hoping to spend 6 to 8 weeks in Moab starting late March to early April in 2022. Hopefully things will change for the better in 2022.

I was unhappy with RR4Wheelers for not refunding me in full 2020 EJS so didn't register this year. I was thinking of going anyway. Last year there was Trail Heroes in Utah, which I decided not to attend knowing up front it was a non-refundable($200) event. I bailed mostly because it was in the 90's, hot and I don't like the heat. I was there 2 days before the event and left at the start. I am signed for Jeep Jamboree Arizonia (march) and Big Bear, Ca. in two months. I am planning to attend and expect a full refund($590) if they cancel the events due to no fault of my own. .

Yeah that would make me unhappy but getting a refund if I couldn’t attend. I sadly can imagine the heat in Utah in the 90s. Way to hot hah. That’s cool that your doing the Arizona and Ca JJ. We’re doing CO in sept.

This shit is he new normal now, unfortunately.
aint that the truth. last year i planned my vacations around a couple of big car / truck shows. some of them cancelled and the others didnt bother going due to the covid status. this year i was like what am i doing for vacation. so once again i'm gambling on a couple of shows. will have to see how thats going to work out. for some reason, i'm thinking its going to be another year staying home for vacation. which can be good in a way.
