Last week I traded my 2018 JL Sahara (Manual) in for a '21 Rubicon (Auto). I think I bought the Sahara for $39,000 and ultimately traded it in for $32,000. It had 19,000 miles on it. Totally different set up with the Auto, but so far I like it and feel it was fair/good trade.
Wow, bought for 39 and traded for 32? That's really good!

I bought my 2018 in July of 2019. It was a demo. It was built in feb. of 18. 10,800 miles later no gripes. Orig. batteries still in it.

Dying to know, does your VIN number end with "000001"?
No, it’s 825. I think it’s one of the first 4cyl JLURs. It is also one of the first with the one touch top. When I bought it there was no CarFax history at 51,000 miles. The dealer bought it directly from FCA. It was a leap of faith for me because I did not know the mechanical history but so far it has worked out and, of course, I got it for a great price.

Nice, I didn't realize they sold the pre-production models off.

I bought my 2018 JLUR used and it had 30k on it. I bought at the end of May and it was delivered early June. Already put 10k on as I just went over 40k. Best buy as family has had fun cruising the beach and I have taken it off roading once thus far as there aren’t a lot of trail in South Texas.

I bought my 2018 JLUS after it sat on the lot for almost 1 year since it was built. My purchase was in Nov 2018. Only real issue was that it went thru two of the start/stop batteries in one month other than that it runs fine. Current millage is just under 17K to date.

Just thought I'd start this to see if it catches on. My JLU is just about 3 years old - March 2018 seems so long ago. Still going strong, no plans to trade. Just wanted to see how others at the same point are holding up.
Still look like it came out of the dealer ship. 12,000.00.

Mine is a fully loaded 2018 JLU Sahara and I'm just approaching 27K on the mileage. It went on sale in July 2018 for a list price of $50,950 and I bought it used a year and one month later in like-new condition with only 10,300 miles on it for $37K. It had never been off-road and still smelled new. One of the best vehicle purchases I ever made and was very happy to let the original owner eat that $14K price difference over one year! :like:

Maintenance-wise, other than normal fluids/filters changes and tire rotations I've only had it in for the steering recall, which tightened things up a bit. Other than that, I can truly say I've had ZERO issues with it and am not ignoring other niggling issues. It's my daily driver and so far I've taken it off-roading up in the Hill Country here in Texas and on a 10-day trip up to Durango, CO, where I went all over the place in the mountains on some awesome trails. It's totally stock, I continue to be amazed by its stock capabilities, I look for excuses to drive it, I love every time I get in it, and I look back at it every time I get out. I love my Jeep! đź‘Ť

Purchased Nov 18’ – winters in Lake Havasu City, AZ – wife’s daily driver and weekends on the trails for me! And she lets me accessorize it all I want…. As long as she approves it! And just clicked over 5,000 miles – no issues and still loving the Rubicon! Couldn’t even get my four Jeep Wave oil changes in.. only got 3 free (free for purchasing the Jeep) -

JLUS 48k miles on it, will be 3 in August. 1 cracked windshield, a few mods here and there, more to come. Did the 2 recalls, 1 for the steering stabilizer (just realized the dealership put it on backwards) and 1 for the new steering box. Haven't had any issues. Plan to keep this jeep for the long haul. Loving it just as much as the day i picked it up off the lot (maybe more since i've put my own touch on it over the years).

Bought in March 2018! 31k miles. No issues besides the clutch recall and a creaking clutch which I’ve just given up on until I replace the clutch someday. Been lifted and on 35’s/ 37’s since 1k miles.

Edit: Forgot to add that I am still on the original batteries. Probably will replace before summer wheeling trips start.

My Unlimited Sahara hardtop was built on 3/2018 and I purchased new 8/2018 from a dealership in Duluth MN. They sent it to me outside Chicago on a flatbed with just over 300 miles on it, and it’s got 16,000 now. I’ve since added Rubicon tires and suspension, and Moab wheels and rails, plus a twill soft top and a few other odds and ends. Got my free oil changes and tire rotations, replaced the rear window for the defroster, had the steering TSB, and complained about the front defroster otherwise great vehicle without issue and tons of fun in the winter and summer!

Not 3 till 5-20. No issues other than an alternator at 10K miles that Jeep hasn't paid the $358 towing bill for yet.
