A little bit closer to joining the Earl club!

I placed my order in the morning of 12/30 and my stepmom was admitted to the hospital that same day following a fall. The next day an MRI revealed an inoperable brain tumor (my dad died of the same thing five years ago this week). Lots of other stressors this month that I won't go into. Seeing this update today made my morning!

Completed some of my tinker projects over the last couple weeks………

-Installed a pair of Mopar Rock-Step-Rails I found on CL.

-Plumbed up my trusty Oil Catch Can (a repurposed Home Depot Air/Water Separator). It has been working very well on three other JEEPS with the 3.6

-installed a 67Design phone holder / arm on a CMM Off-road ball stud (found this combo suggested by a forum member on another thread).

-Completed my rear seat delete by tucking away the seat belts and fitting a sturdy rubber mat (an easy way to make time pass on a Sunday afternoon!)

Hey hey my Jeep Peeps. Bought the kiddo a 2018 Willys 2-Door JK at the 1st of the year. I've been modding it to teenage boy standards and felt like I was going through a breakup when I turned it over to him. That weekend I ended up buying a 2023 4-Door Rubicon EcoDiesel in the new Earl Gray for myself....whoopsie. Supporting one Jeep habit is bad enough, now we've got 2 in the household! I am in LOVE with my Rubicon. I mainly poke around but if I need to drop the hammer, she sure can $h!t and get! That diesel is a bad mamma jamma! Can't wait to fly doors off when the weather starts acting right!
Additionally, the color is what sealed the deal. I call it aquamarine. Looks just like my birthstone. I ordered the Fuel Assaults with the red trim to set off the red accents around the "Jeep" and "Rubicon" decals. I'm making slow upgrades... nerfs, matte black Old Glory decal in the side windows and currently she's tore apart as we're installing Morimoto headlights, fogs and DRL's.

Thank you! Aesthetically they’re pretty awesome. Practically they’re a tad odd. The design doesn’t really accommodate the foot placement (webbing is too far forward) but I haven’t had any slip-ups yet so they seem to be working out. (yes, I had on my sheep booties when I installed them )

This makes my heart happy. Last night husband was all too eager to jump right in and install my LEDs. We didn’t finish so I drove my sons Willys in this morning. The 2nd pic is what I sent husband 15 min after getting to work. He gets me

I'm not big on the duck thing, nothing wrong with it and all. Our 2018 JLUR has received allot of them but it has some nice wheels and a lift, Genright fenders.
Anyway my wifes new Earl is a bone stock JLR and has gotten Two ducks in just the last week in two entirely different areas. This particular duck is the coolest duck I have seen yet. Its dark out but you can see Earl.....LOL
