Hello Jeepers,
I thought id share pics and my .02 cents on the above mentioned sliders I bought and installed. I chose these from EAG for my 2dr 21 Rubicon.
From what I found shopping, it’s hard to find a rock slider/running board combo that snugs up nice and tight against the lower body frame so as not to expose the bolts and hideous lower edge of the body. I found these and this is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Nice solid quality, textured power coating nice and thick. Came well packed.
Install was easy, they’re heavy, had to use a floor jack to hold in place in lieu of a friend. But heads up, have to remove those 4 frame bolts that are notorious for snapping. I used breaker bar and had no problem thankfully, going slow. Bolts had to be tugged on aggressively to pull out as they don’t free fall on they’re own.
Enjoy, happy wheeling!
