Looking at 37s for my JLUR daily driver, no wheeling. Curious on if I should go with the D (8 ply) or E (10 ply) for set of Maxxis Razr ATs

D will be lighter so will be less wear and tear and better mpg. With no off-roading you’re not going to worried about sidewall tears or punctures on a trail.

Ds will be better than Es for a daily, IMO. The stiffer the sidewall the less give the tire will have under compression (bumps and such), and it can make a ride particularly harsh, generally meaning you'll get a better ride with C or D.

D will almost always be a lighter tire than E. However, some E rated tires are on the low end of the rating and have a 65 PSI max pressure rating. I would go by the weight of the tires.

No light truck tires have 8 or 10 plies in them anymore. That’s an antiquated rating system that still persists for some reason.

Don't confuse what D and E actually mean. This is the ply's on the tread section ONLY. It has nothing to do with sidewall.
E will give you a harsher ride because they are meant for heavier payloads.
