Why? And what filter do you trust your expensive Jeep to?I still cant believe in this day and age anybody would put a Fram or anything from Champion Lab’s on their 35-65k vehicle is beyond me.

Definitely not the “orange can of death” or the company thats the lowest bidder on the planet with the worst quality. Why? And what filter do you trust your expensive Jeep to?
I've never seen a Fram cut open with any issues, rust, separation, or anything else. Not even their cheapest Extra Guard line. I've seen Purolators frayed and torn in as few as 3k miles, including cartridge filters. I've also never had a UOA with a Fram filter that indicated sub-par filtration, and I've had lots of them over the years.
How is 20 seconds of no oil pressure the filter's fault?Pennzoil and Mopar
I will never use a fram on anything as I had a brand new filter fail that I purchased and put on myself.
Was on an old 318, thank God, so the 20 seconds of no oil pressure didn't hurt anything.
Mopar or Wix from that point on.
Agreed and for the money I have not found anything that is comparable to the FRAM Ultra and I have dissected dozens of brands.I've never seen a Fram cut open with any issues, rust, separation, or anything else. Cut open a Fram Ultra and tear it apart and compare it to anything else. Then look at the filtering stats: 99+% at down to 20 microns. The only one I've seen that competes with that efficiency is Amsoil. Guess who makes Amsoil filters? Champion. They also make Mobil 1, which are 99% efficient down to 30 microns. Not as good as a Fram Ultra, but still very good.
Too bad! Too many of us agree.Careful. If my wife stumbles across this she'll laugh so hard it will hurt her.
Strong opinion. Curious what you found with the first hand knowledge. Asking honestly,Mopar filter , Pennzoil 0w-20.
Agree with NO Fram ! I have first hand knowledge of the company and products and would never ever use Fram on anything.
