Dual Top Owners - When do you switch to Soft Top?

Beautiful, albeit still chilly, day in New England. Made me start thinking about the soft top. What time of year do you all switch from Hard to Soft Top?

I’m going to wait a couple more weeks just to make sure we don’t get an Easter dump of snow.

This will be my first year with the soft top, so was thinking sometime in April, it all depends on how the temperatures are looking, I live in the Midwest, so we’re still getting some cold weather.

I'm taking mine up to the Jeep the Mac at the end of April so I may keep the hard top on until I get back. Last year I think I swapped in mid-April.

I am in central Illinois and I think I will swap this weekend. There is little difference in the volume difference, and it is pretty warm overall. A late snow would be my only worry, but fingers crossed that it stays warm enough this weekend it will be winch install and soft top on the Jeep.

My 1st Wrangler and my 1st soft top. I just installed my Lange hoist so I’m ready to take my hard top off. I’ll probably swap tops mid April.

I usually swap it out when it stays in the 50s consistently. That means in May up here in Rochester haha
