I have been to Costa Rica on a Mission Trip and it is such a beautiful place. Make sure you visit the Coffee Plantations and all the beaches and most of all have an amazing time and be safe!

2 scary things I found driving around in South America

1) Sneak speed bumps, I got air bourne so many times...
2) Brazilian Wandering spider... omg wtf... big fast, most deadly poisonous spider in the world... and omfg they jump 5' AND they are angy really angry all the time.

No. Only, US, PR and Canada.
I'm sure there are special policies which can be bought, I just have no experience in it and I'm wondering how costly it is, especially if you're driving through areas with a bad reputation.

O gotcha. So I'm good when we travel to Canada You know, I never thought about car insurance. I simply assumed Excellent info tho for people! Thanks!

Edit: I know when I was stationed in Germany I had to carry a million euro policy.

Just read through the blog (only five posts so far). Really cool, I’d encourage any of the alarmist who think Mexico is just a giant rape and murder factory to read through it. They somehow made it out of Mexico and into Guatemala alive.
