I have the 3.6 and love it, adding the UPR catch can got me better gas mileage too. On my trip from NY to Jeep fest in TN, I averaged 23.2 down and 22.8 back. No complaints here.

So pardon my ignorance, will a catch can get you better mileage?I have the 3.6 and love it, adding the UPR catch can got me better gas mileage too. On my trip from NY to Jeep fest in TN, I averaged 23.2 down and 22.8 back. No complaints here.
That's the claim. Some of us are skeptical of it. Read the recent conversation in the Mishimoto vs. UPR Catch Can thread. But YMMV. (Pun intended there! ). No way to verify that unless you own some pretty sophisticated test equipment. But theoretically, it could. So pardon my ignorance, will a catch can get you better mileage?
Source? The 2020 Turbo four-cylinder will no longer be produced it's already proven to be problematic FCA will be discontinuing it soon
Ahh, I thought the 4Xe will be getting this engine for the hyrbid??The 2020 Turbo four-cylinder will no longer be produced it's already proven to be problematic FCA will be discontinuing it soon
I have one and I have not seen any MPG improvement (but I was not expecting any either). For me, it is trapping the oil and preventing it from being dumped into the intake and subsequently being burned in the combustion chamber. So pardon my ignorance, will a catch can get you better mileage?
To make things even more complicated, I've read that the 4xe actually is an eTorque 2.0... well not exactly. It's not branded as "eTorque", but It has a BSG instead of a traditional alternator.Maybe he was thinking eTorque wouldn't be available with the 2.0. I don't know why FCA keeps playing musical chairs with the eTorque.
They are not ending 2.0 production. I think that was a troll attempt.Ahh, I thought the 4Xe will be getting this engine for the hyrbid??
Where did you hear this and why is it listed as an option for engines on the 2021 Jeep site??
what is problematic, havent heard much if any issues, at least at this point in time.
