Found out that the 2020 Jeep Dealer of the Year awardee is a dealership that is about 50 miles from me. Also, all the dealerships within 25 miles of me have online crowdsourced service ratings around 3 out of 5 stars or less. But the one 50 miles away also got 5 of 5 stars average rating with 1300+ reviews.

Would you go fifty miles for service if you lived within striking distance of such a dealership?

The dealership where I bought my Jeep went out of business because of COVID.

It would depend on the service, but yes. I loathe the dealership and if my best shot to get excellent service is 50 miles, I'd make that trip.

I would give it a shot, but am also somewhat skeptical of that many online reviews of any business. But if the first experience was positive, I would continue.

While it’s easy for me to say “yes”, Faricy (by all accounts a fantastic dealer) is 58 miles from me dowm in Colorado Springs. I-25 is a mess with construction in spots. I therefore haven’t gone to Faricy. So, while I would tell you “yes”, I don’t practice what I preach.
