Draw tite hitch

Trying to install the hitch on my 19 JLU sport. Finding that the weld beads are getting in the way due to sloppy factory welding. Does not allow the hitch to be fully seated up due to the beads. Anyone else experiencing this? I assume it’s grinding wheel time?

Just had the same problem trying to put on a Curt hitch receiver on a 2020JLU. Ground down the sloppy weld. Took a 20 min job and made it 2 days (had to let the paint cure a little).
